What Sets Gardus Apart
Maximum Safety. Minimal Risk. Smart Savings
- Gardus Sentinel is the first leak-detect chemical dosing hose on the market, combining 15 years of proven performance of Gardus Shield with integrated leak detection to deliver Gardus Sentinel.
- In the unlikely event of a chemical leak, the system sends a signal to sound an alarm and shut down the dosing pump, enabling operators to switch to a reserve line. The sensitive detection triggers on minimal leaked liquid, and the durable polyurethane jacket safely contains the leak.
- Approved by major UK water and wastewater companies, Gardus Sentinel reduces environmental risk and installation costs and often eliminates the need for catch pots.

Pipe is supplied on drums of 450 – 500 metres. However, we can supply lengths of up to 700 metres. Common lengths of 150, 200, 250 metres are readily available, and each coil is tested for electric conductivity and certified before delivery.
Gardus hose systems are pre-assembled dual containment hoses, making them faster to install than traditional rigid pipe or pipe-in-pipe systems. Their lightweight flexible design also simplifies routing through existing infrastructure and reduces labour and installation time.
Gardus Shield can eliminate the need for catch pots when leak detection is already present in the dosing cabinet and POA. Gardus Sentinel normally removes the need for catch pots entirely, as its integrated leak detection triggers an audible and visual alarm and automatically shuts down the dosing pump via the PLC in the event of a leak.
Gardus hose systems typically operate within a temperature range of –20 °C to +55 °C, with intermittent exposure up to +65 °C, depending on the chemical being conveyed and the specific hose configuration.
Gardus is a dual containment flexible hose system designed to safely convey aggressive chemicals in water treatment and industrial environments. It features an inner hose that transfers the chemical and an outer containment layer that safely captures any potential leaks, helping protect personnel and the environment.
Gardus Sentinel detects very small amounts of leaked liquid within the outer containment layer. When liquid is detected, the system sends a signal to activate an alarm and shut down the dosing pump, allowing operators to switch to a reserve line and prevent chemical loss or environmental contamination.
The ID of the Dual Containment Hose is 6mm-50mm. Allmach has exclusive rights to these sizes.
Gardus Sentinel is the first leak-detect chemical dosing hose system available in Australia. It combines the proven Gardus Shield hose with integrated leak detection technology that sends a signal to trigger an alarm and automatically shut down the dosing pump if a leak occurs.
DCH comes with various material inners such as PVC, LDPE and PTFE to cover resistance of most common chemicals used in dosing, such as Sodium Hypochlorite, Ferric and Caustic. Full chemical details are always requested, including concentrations, to ensure that the product is fully fit for purpose. Full chemical resistance charts are available.
Gardus hose technology has over 15 years of proven performance and is widely used across water treatment and industrial facilities. The system is approved by major UK water and wastewater companies and is trusted for critical chemical dosing applications.
